There are no wine making forums that I know about, so I thought I would share with you guys.

I have mentioned before that I make wine in the fall. Well, I racked it this morning and did a "little" sampling. It is good stuff!!! :D :D :D

Try to type in this state.

And I have to make a dump run, oh domestic life. I may take my camera if I think I can work it.

The last time I was like this so early in the morning my buddy Ox called me on the his cell phone, ordered me to open my front door, where he was standing on my stoop with an open beer for me. Oh the good old days!!!!

Off to ebay....

note to all, the dump doesn't close until 2:00 pm, so I won't be driving anywhere until/unless I can.:)

Friends don't let friends bid drunk on eBay! (grin)

Have a good time, be safe. I will be having a beer or two (or three) myself later today when I process some more B&W I found laying about. I'm a simple guy - D-76 and Budweiser and I'm in a pretty good mood. Just gotta remember which one goes in the developing tank and which one goes in me!

In these politically-correct times, when one announces that one has joyfully imbibed and is enjoying the effects of it, it seems as if one has broken wind in church - the responses range from mild disapproval to a physical distancing. I say bully for you. As you mentioned, driving in that state is right out, but otherwise, tipple away, my friend.

Best Regards,

Bill Mattocks

Nobody will disapprove Rover's great time here, i guess.
OK, i'm biased. I've just had a glass of wine.

I just popped a roast into the oven. A main ingrediant is half a bottle of red for the gravey and half for me :D

I really gotta get home brewing again too. Or maybe some mead

Ah, this is me, too---- with a couple of modifications (T-Max and Bud Light)--- but somehow drinking and developing go together. Must be all that time to stand around agitating. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

you guys make me hungry. I will go home, although i should do some more work, but i can't resist. Steak for tonight, with some nice spanish red Reserva i've found at a more than good price ;)

Cheers to you with a glass of nice Grüner Veltliner that my dad made...!

How come nobody mentions the holier focusing fluid, so eloquently illustrated in the "Cameras and Coffee" thread? What happened to the good, ole Guiness?

I must get one...

Darn! Store is closed!

Hey, Rover, that's a dandy way to start a Sunday!

Eons ago, when I was a member of a service organization, my buddies and I volunteered to clear and clean some part of the city (Guatemala, that is). We were starting at 7 AM, so as to be done by 10 or 11. My ride came on time to pick me up, but I wasn't ready so I left the house without breakfast. At 10 AM, after 3 solid hours of work... we were NOT finished! Fortunately, someone showed up with three six-packs...

I never imagined beer could make such a great breakfast! :)

When do we get to taste the Chateau Rôver? ;)

Pff, i'm spoiled here. We have a student bar every thursday afternoon where you can choose from approx. 100 types of beer, mostly belgian, all on retailer prices. The most expensive one being La Chouffe, 75 cl bottle of heavy special belgian beer for eur 1.30.

But i still prefer wine.

My favorite T-shirt:

Vintage Guinness (Gaelic for Genius)

A nice Guinness with steak and potatoes....mm....nothing better on a cool winters night.

I love wine, I love good ol red Murphy's, but you know, then there's this Twister thing...

Just take two and say goodbye till tomorrow :)

My Guinness t-shirt says "Guinness: Tall, Dark, and Have Some."

What is a 'twister'? Nice camera!

Last cocktail I had (in Brugge, Belgium) was something called "Head against the wall in a dark suburb of Mexico City".

No comment. :)
