Hey there,
just had to finally give in an install Service Pack 2 for Windows XP as I need it to run some software for Uni work.
What is bugging me is the annoying "information bar" that appears beneath the web address bar in Internet Explorer. This feature blocks javascript and no amount of messing with the security settings seems to be able to enable any active page content. Before anyone chimes in, Yes, I must use SP2 and No, I can't buy a Mac!
As there seems to be a lot of guys on here that work in IT I was hoping that you might have encountered this and have an easy fix...is there ever an easy fix when it comes to Windows...hahaha...
Any links to websites with a good description on how to fix this problem would be appreiciated. In the meantime I have installed Firefox and am using it as my browser but as much as I wish I didn't have to use IE again I would rather have a fix for this problem just incase I need to run IE again due to any incompatabilities that Firefox might throw up.... or my Unii and its poor choice in software!!!
OK well back to cameras now.... Cheers!
