I wasn't sure where to post this and this is not a major querie but it is something that I have been very curious about lately.
The photography in the inserts for LCBO that have been coming every couple of weeks in the Globe and Mail are incredible. I know this is probably blasphemous on this forum but I wanted to know how they were able to achieve that in print. Is it in the studio photography, type of camera, the editing phase (i.e., PS), the printing phase, or what? I'm just amazed at the clarity and level of detail in the photographs. I'm sure it's digital but there is also something about the way they are printing those inserts that maintains so much detail and sharpness.
Feel free to flame away, I have no association with the LCBO (besides being a frequent customer 😉), I just was very curious about those brochures.
