I have the Nikkor 28mm/f2.8 AIS and if the f2.0 version of that lens is as good then it will be a cracking lens.
I like mine so much I got an adapter for it so I can use it on my Leica M6...

Peter, how does it work?
How much did you pay for it, and is it available somewhere?
I have a Nikkor 24/2.8 that I like, and using it on an "M" series Leica sounds neat
Denis
Cameraquest.com has the Nikon F mount to Leica M mount or Leica screw mount adapters for $125.
Hmmm That would be a cheap way for me to use my 2.1cm F4 Nikkor F-Mount lens on the M3. Great lens, non-retrofocus RF lens in F-Mount, cost a fraction ($200 at Penn camera) of what the same lens in S-Mount goes for. Requires that the mirror be locked up, making the F and F2 into viewfinder cameras.

What Brian said, Denis. I got mine from Stephen Gandy at Cameraquest a while back - I think I paid $110 for it then. The adapter doesn't rangefinder-couple of course, so it makes sense to use it with wide/ultra-wide lenses. It does work well though...
