OT: Most memorable news photos in last 10 years.

Anybody knows if the Sudanese girl in Kevin Carter's photo survived? I don't recall I have read anywhere about her fate.
 
I saw a shot of an Iran street in which the Abu Ghraib photos had been blown up to life size in full color and posted, one after the other, almost like an art gallery..and the way they were cropped and posted really gave them a weird aesthetic presence, as if the guy who created the posters was an artist who was looking for more than a document...Other countries have different icons; I'm sure those are much more powerful and telling in the Arab world than in the west.
