OT: Need Pickle Recipes

This is kind of a test as I didn't see any off topic threads on the front page...

One of my duties tonight is to find a good dill pickle recipe. Can anyone offer any advise or grandma's special recipe? 🙂

Be sure you get "pickling" cucumbers. They are different. When I was a kid, my Mom used to make pickles, and they had a way of turning out fine.

But to avoid arguments, the only claim I'll make for my Mom is that NOBODY made potato salad like she did. Also, because I wa raised on a farm, I know what tomatoes are supposed to taste like. And you CAN'T get them in markets.

We have pleanty of farm markets around so I will swing by one tomorrow morning when I am out making my rounds. I looked today and should have bought the jars, but I don't need to make a huge lot of pickles, though I should.
