Yes, this fellow makes me very happy. Because:
a) Apparently, there are other people who can be every bit as stupid as myself at times.
b) He has a sense of humor about it.
c) There is still silliness in the world.
Took Digital Camera Apart - Now Buy The Parts
I am tempted to bid just to reward his silliness. But I am quite well aware of my mechanical inabilities. Danger would follow. Perhaps greyhoundman, who is actually skilled with a screwdriver?
Best Regards,
Bill Mattocks

Thanks for that one, Bill!
That made my day
I'm kinda like that, only I don't mess with electricity. I almost got electrocuted when I was a kid, trying to make my toy truck run on household electricity, and since then I hate electricity with a passion
OTOH, my younger kid seems to have a similarly inquisitive mind - he got shocked last summer messing with a wall outlet... Must be some kind of gene thing...

No wonder it doesn't work. It's got too many parts!

Denis - around my place everyone seems to be electroshocked once in a while.
I even managed to do it here in the labs in NL, a year back. A power supply which had no back cover (somebody forgot to screw it back). Brr.
thanks Bill

Bill that posting on eBay is just hilarious! "Please don't bid if you expect me to send you a camera that works, because I need to keep the one that works to take digital photos of stuff that doesn't work so I can sell it on E-bay to people like you." The guy should be rewarded for just writing some of the text...
Thanks for the post - it picked me up no end...
