OT: Question for you Darkroom Gurus

hey all...i've been trying to get help from different sites but no one seems forthcoming...

i just picked up an old premiere roto drier and i wanted to wash the canvas....how the heck do i take it off? can anyone give me a step by step or point me towards some instructions....

it may not be worth your while russ, those print dryers were a pain and unless you are a meticulous worker will wind up leaving stains on your prints.

i don't know the answer to your question though.

I'd buy some raw, unbleached canvas at a fabric store and make a new belt.

I had a Premier print drier, and it seems to me the canvas was sewn doubled over a couple times along one side, and fit into a groove along one side. It could be slid out of the groove for cleaning as I recall.
