OT: "This camera appears to be in acceptable condition"

That must be one of those rare cameras that "solarizes" your film before you take a picture.

Perhaps a small fresh rock of crack made it into the seller's Cheerio's that morning?

Seller said it was for "parts". The "acceptable condition" is kind of a stupid phrase but in this context - its not misleading!

Some sellers just think they have to say a lot to make their listing look "good".

If you don't like eBay - just don't use it - but there is such a "thing" here about eBay that's it's kind of weird.

It's a friggin' flea market - not Wally 🙂 World!

Check out the seller's other auctions. All cameras are sold "as-is". The seller must have bought out a camera store's junk bin.

He's got a 10D that was tempting if it didn't go to high and I'd probably consider it if I knew the electronics still worked, but I need a scanner. S-C-A-N-N-E-R. GAS for anything else has to wait. 😛

It may even be a case of someone having won a lot from a business auction. More than likely the guy did a quick session of digicam captures and posted everything as quickly as possible. Notice you only get a front and a back shot. Its also likley this person cut and pasted nearly every description.

Looks to me like this seller is trying to make a little money from salvage.

Maybe even a few good things for tinkerers. I think only the blind could get caught on this one and cameras don't matter much to them.
