Thank you for your info, very kind of you to warn me about the possibility of difficulty in getting stock of this lens.

Thus far, I've seen 2 units at two local shops, which no one seem to be interested in, but the prices quoted is unacceptably high, so i guess i'll have to contact a seller in the US or HK...

I look forward to using this lens sometime soon.

Kev, you might discuss this issue with those two local shops. With unusual items long sitting unsold, a respectful customer approach for consideration on the price rather than going to an overseas supplier might reveal some pricing flexibility. 🙂

Hi Doug,

I agree under normal circumstances, I'd rather pay a little more just to buy from a 'real' person standing behind a glass counter! The trouble in my country (actually an island just 25 miles across cramped up with 4.4 million people) is that there isn't an officially appointed C / V distributor, at least not one that I know of, so the C / V products we're getting here are all 'grey imports' anyway.

But I suppose it doesn't hurt to go back and wave some hard cash in their faces and see if I can get a reasonable price...

How much are you quoted for the Voigtlander 125mm MACRO Lens in Singapore Dollars?? NEW or Used ?

Sorry for the late reply, been on assignments lately... Prices quoted me range from S$1350 - S$1500+ (About US$840 - US$950) These are for new in the box items... Haven't seen a used one for sale at any used equipment shops locally.

Get the Lens from HongKong. It's cheaper.

It's quite a Rare lens in Singapore, therefore the pricing is so much higher.

Furthermore the Lens is discontinued and it increases it's rarity and price continue to escalate.
