Hmmm ... sometimes I look at my photographs and thing they're a bit "wooden'.
At least with this camera I would have an excuse!

Growing up in the Ozark Mtns., I've seen just about everything made from wood. Wooden plates, cups, glasses, wooden wagon wheels, various wooden body parts, wooden teeth, wooden dogs... A man with a good pocket knife and a whoooole lot of time on his hands, well the possiblities were just endless.
So I'm thinking over the advantages to a wooden Leica ~
(1) It floats.
(2) It could be upgraded to a IIIG with simply a Dremel tool.
(3) If the lens gets scratched, it could be sanded smooth again.
(4) A wider aperture could be obtained with a drill.
Disadvantages:
(1) Splinters in your cheek.
(2) Termites.
