Frank, that's quite generous of you. I was thinking about using my Nikon F hot shoe adapter for a CV meter which should fit nicely?

Side question: Will the Nikon F take the DE-1 plain prism (for the F2)? The F and F2 can interchange focusing screens, right?

The CV meter should fit just fine on that flash adaptor. It would look pretty cool sitting on the corner of a Nikon F like that.

It wasn't really generous. I was prepared to include it with the F that I sold but the buyer didn't want it. So it was free. Plus, I like the idea of paying a favour forward (as opposed to back) thereby passing along good fortune. Today I got a parcel post pick up slip. I'm pretty sure it is the enlarger head I'm getting from Gary (RFF member) in California, for only the cost of postage. It was surplus to his needs, I had a post looking for an enlarger head to replace mine that just pooped out, and he was a nice guy. I'm paying the favour forward.

And, right after I first joined RFF I was looking for an external 135 finder, Stuart just gave me one that was surplus to his needs. That really impressed me. Later I passed that finder along too.

Ray,, I don't know about meter head compatability between the F and F2 cameras. Someone else here will know this I'm sure.

As usual I show up too late...I have a pair of F's one with an eyelevel prism that belonged to my dad and another with the FTn Prism. An AS-1 adapter would have been nice🙁
