[OT] Why the scroll ??

Hi there,

I don't know if this is the right forum to post this but I'll go ahead ... Everythime I open a thread, it scrolls automatically to the middle of the thread for some reason. It's not browser related since I've tried with both IE and Firefox and I get the same behavior. What I'd like is to get rid of the initial scroll into the thread. When I open a thread I want to start reading from the begining ...

Is this a normal behavior or is there something wrong on my end ?

i think, in theory, it goes to the next unread post.
mine sometimes moves around a bit before it settles on a post.

According to my observations it scrolls to the first unread post. Alltough it doesn't seem to work correctly all the time. It bothered me in the first few weeks that I visited RFF, but I've gotten used to it. 🙂

Well, for me it's pretty random. On a n unread thread, the scroll ends up in the middle of the thread. This is really annoying !!!!
