Caffenol C for Tri-X ... easy to mix, one-shot use. Two-minute pre-soak, 12 minute development time at around 68 degrees F with agitation once every four minutes. The results are grainy but good.

Barry's Two Bath for me for just about everything.
It's forgiving and I need forgiviness second only to time.
Diafine when I want 1250iso out of tri-x. It's just as forgiving as Barry's.
Get the theme? I want consistantly good results with minimal effort and minimal risk of screwing up a roll or sheet of film. Every film I shoot is important to me, not because of the high art I achieve, but because of the limited time I have to shoot. I don't want to spend that rare afternoon off hiking 2 miles back in to the desert and then destroy the film because Arizona water is too hot or because one of my kids distracted me and my development time went over.
