Out of bags...Ciro-Flex needs a bag!

Just when I thought I would never need another bag, the Ciro-Flex is ready for another outing. Still haven't sent out the first roll for processing and scanning (may be another 4 weeks before I can do that), but that won't stop me from shooting the roll I just got loaded into the camera, thanks to Mike (mwooten).🙂

Trouble is, I don't have a bag to carry it in. I don't like my cameras sitting on the car seat unprotected, nor do I like carrying a naked camera every time we go into the local pub/restaurant/store. There are times I just don't want to be noticed with a camera.

The dimensions of the camera with the hood are roughly 6"H x 6"Hood to back x 5" W.

What are you folks using for a TLR of similar dimensions?😕

P.S. I hate Tamrac/Lowepro products...Domke soft bags that don't look like a camera bag are good for me as is something all leather and used (aka cheap). Army surplus is good and vintage cases or bags would be great, too! I tried my Jack Daniels leather pouch bag but it was too small....LOL.

Walmart may be most incognito....😛 although I love the fold-up green one I have from Publix.

Reckon I will be by the Army Surplus store soon.

your comment about Lowe bags made me check their website as I am using a Stealth reporter bag (300?) that might be from the first version of this bag maybe 8 years ago. I assume I'll be in trouble, once this bag falls to pieces but might as well be good for another 8 years. Good luck finding "your" bag.

I am sure their products are fine for most folks. BTDT. Don't want anymore of them. I am looking for a different form these days.

I am curious if the Domke Rugged Wear 5XB is big enough to hold the Ciro-flex and the Leica X1 at the same time. The actual width of the Ciro-flex without the chrome knob on the side is about 4 inches. The X1 will take up very little space but is necessary as I use it for the light meter...😛

I have a small, ancient Domke somewhere that I think I got at a flea market a bazillion years ago for $5. It fts TLRs perfectly, used to carry my Rolleiflex around in it. Just room for camera, meter, film ...

Roughly 6x4x4 inches for the Cord, and some more space for my Sekonic 308 and some films would be neat. Thanks!

I use a soft, insulated, rectangular lunchbag that I bought at a discount store for very little. It protects the camera from knocks and heat, and certainly does not look like a camera bag. It has a shoulder strap. Just the right size for a Rolleicord.

I use a BBB-E for my Diacord and Yashicamat. It fits the TLR and something smaller, like the Contax G2 or X-Pro1 or any rangefinder really and there is still room for a few rolls of film.
