Overexposure+Jupiter 8

This is from my first set of images with my Bessa R and a Jupiter 8. The setting was VERY dark. Film was Superia 400. Wide open and Speed was 4. The meter was reading correct if a bit underexposed.

Any thoughts or Tips?

I think The light wall in the background was throwing the meter way off. You needed to open up about 2 F-stops past what the meter indicated. Meters like "18%" grey. a white wall for the background messes things up.

Best I can do for an explanation.

Yeah, that has to be it. I have just started working with manual/metered shooting after about 10 years or so.
