Overgaard, updated MM pages

Fascinating. Some considerable further insights there that cheer me up about not being able to have one at the moment: slower write times, the need for ND filters to exploit the fast lenses....not that I would do that. I like Overgaard's site. Whether you agree or disagree with some of what he says, it is great to get so much information about the approach of a working photogrpaher.

Hi Richard,

for whatever reason he shoots compressed DNG on his M9, so shooting uncompressed DNG on the MM does require longer write times than compressed - no surprise is it ? ;) In general I also like his site quite a bit but sometimes he's a bit anal e.g. shooting wide open all the time. If that's your personal style, then yes, you'll need some ND filter but for most people low noise at higher ISO is actually more important than shooting wide open in broad daylight.
