P´s in the house!

Hello!
I just have to put it into words. My Canon P has arrived - looking gorgeous. 😀 The 50/1,4 is clear as an early spring morning (Norway, not LA), the aperture ring a little tight, but it works all right, focus soft and precise. The frame for the 35 mm is impossible to see fully with glasses on, but I was warned. First TMax is in. Can´t wait to put the negs in the scanner.
And; I want a 100mm! Now! Anyone? 😎

Awesome. I is envious. How does the brightness of the VF and the clarity of the RF patch compare to your R2?

Different, but great

I´m amaazed that a camera this old, can come up with a viefinder as clear and easy to focus. The bluish tint is different, but works great against the more yellow character of the focus patch.

It is a really fun camera to use. I especially like how it feels so mechanical.
