I packed up my minimal camera gear set for an upcoming trip. I tried to balance between manageable weight and completeness in terms of meeting likely needs.
Cameras:
1. Bessa T .............. light and functional
2. Horizon 202........... for great panorama images
Lenses:
1. 25mm/4 CV .................... small and light
2. 35mm/1.8 Canon ............ small and light
3. J-3 50mm/1.5..................... very light
4. Nikkor Sonnar 85mm/2.0 ...... not small and not light
I feel that the set is "complete".
What is your typical gear for a trip?
Raid
edited: I cheated and added an Olympus XA to the bag.

Please forgive this SLR response but since I just packed my kit for a trip back to Texas for Christmas here it is:
Nikon EM
50mm lens (manual)
Sigma 21-35mm lens (manual)
and a VIvtar 80-200 (manual)
Now I am expecting in the mail my first FED2 and if I had that now and it all works properly I might pack:
Fed2
either a Jupiter 8 or Industar 22 (don't own either yet but trying to decide which I want)
and a Jupiter 12
Happy Holiday!
P.S. I also have a n XA2 in the mix...theme? I am cheap! (edited)

I have a 10 day trip coming up on the 30th.
For me it will be:
M2 + R2a
J-8 + VC 40/1.4 + J-9
and huge quantities of film. I always take too much film and end up only using 1/3-1/2 of what I took. I don't know whether that makes me a pessimist or optomist.

Bessa R3A (Industar 50 and Tele-elmarit 90)
Horizon 202
Lots of B&W and some slide film.
Not much of a 35mm person, maybe a 15mm suits me more.

A Rollei 35. Maybe, if the trip destination warrants it, the Contax IIIa with the 21mm Biogon.

35 'cron
90 thin TE
12585 hood (fits both lenses)
Two yellow filters
One set of caps
Not to mention a lot of film (HP5 and FP4), lens brush, notebook, sheet of sticky labels for recording EI on cassettes, pencil and a sharpie marker. All packed in a Billingham Hadley with plenty of room for paperback book, umbrella, travel papers, etc, etc. Oh and a Fuji F11 digital (sorry).

Lately, I just take my Natura S Black (I love the 24mm lens) and a few rolls of film (either Elite Chrome 100 or Kodak ISO 400 C41 B&W; I've got a zillion rolls of the stuff to use up).

minimal ? who, never managed ! I would say : bessaR + VC 35/1,7 + VC 75/2,5 + many films. If more place available I would add Nikon FM2 + 50 /1,4. if more place ...uhh it is no more a minimal pack...

My regular kit is my minimal- M3, 50mm and a meter. I might also pack a VC 21mm, and if I'm feeling strong, maybe a 90 Elmarit. If I'm not packing light, I'll add another M3 body and a goggled 35 'cron.

Confirmed RF addict...
I'm in the middle of packing for a trip to western NC I was supposed to take today (bloody snow!!!). I was done with my clothes/presents etc last night, but I still haven't sorted my camera bag(s)... I swore after my trip home over the summer that I'd never take so much gear, but it is so hard! I have tried more than once to cut it down from this...
Nicca IIIS & 35/2.5, col. 50/1.9
Nikkormat FT & 21/3.8, 35/2.8, 55-135/3.5, 300/5.5
Bessa L & 15/4.5
Rollei dt4000 (digi p&s)
My contax II & Rolleicord Va are sitting here as well, but I originally wanted to keep my kit limited to what will fit in my Safrotto 803 clone with maybe a little overflow. Decisions, decisions...
