I painted four softies for my cameras this weekend. It's so much fun to paint something real and something small.

My wife likes the Deer. My daughter favors the Cherry. I like the "Coke cap" on my M8.

There will be more to come... probably a few "M&Ms":)

Your design ideas are welcome!

They look really good!
Joe, you can texture the surface by cross hatching the top with small, sharp file.

@ Joe, I was thinking about adding texture too. There will be more experimental samples to come.

@Kolame, I just color painted them and a friend helped with enamel paint.

Sorry for the slow update. There were too many things need to be done before holidays. I only painted these M&M and blue dog face buttons last weekend.

@ Peter and Dan, I will try to paint the peace sign. I will put it here if it looks good enough.

That's excellent! Well done. :D

I only have one concern. How will they wear? Is there a protective clear coating on top of the painting?
If not that's fine. You could very easily spray some clear lacquer over the top once they're dry.
Or even coat them with some Epoxy.

Thanks for your efforts.

It's not completed yet. The pattern will be coated with a hard transparent paint. But I need to paint more buttons and coat them together to save cost. Once it coated, the button suface will not be easily worn.
