waiting on the new fuji 16-80 lens...thinking of what other focal length lens it might be paired with...or if another lens is necessary at all?
the only lens that pops into my mind is the 14...what would you do?

I have a 14 for sale, Joe, if you decide to go that route.

got one now...thanks.
I would think that the 14mm, 16-80mm, and one small prime of your favorite focal length could do it all for you.

this makes sense...it would also provide a closeby backup body if needed and a small lens for some light days.

I think one fast but small "normal" prime would be a good combo when you don't want to carry the larger zoom around. I have a Fuji XF 23mm f/2 on my X-T3 which is a stellar performer, tiny, and weather rated.

I would take along the 35/1.4 (50mm equivalent). Now that it actually focuses quickly on the XT3 it has become my favorite Fuji lens.

Well, I was gonna suggest pairing it with a faster prime lens, until I read that. Maybe you're good with what you have!

i bought and then sold the 16-55/2.8!
great lens and would have been perfect except that it was both too heavy and too large for my hands...the 16-80 is smaller and lighter and should be ok in my smallish hands.

Thanks back alley...I've just started using the 16-55 on the X-H1 body...perhaps a better match weight distribution wise.
