Panasonic 20mm w ACR CS5 - automatic lens profile?

Dumb me doesn't understand how to set up ACR so that it automagically sees the raw files from the 20mm Pany lens and magically applies the lens corrections without me having to do anything with the individual files....

It must be possible, right?

Are their canned lens profiles for the 20/1.7 to download?

cant believe that LR doen't just do this... Aperture does as far as i can see...are you sure the lens needs correction?

You might find this thread helpful, esp the links in the 3rd post. Profiles seem to be for camera/lens combinations, and from what I can see nobody has yet created and made available a profile for your lens. Looks like you can knock one up quite easily using the Lens Profile Creator app, though, and make it available for others to download at your discretion...

I thought the camera does in-camera lens correction. Is there still a need for more correction?

Not sure how to use that .dcp file with ACR/CS5, I don't use Lightroom.... but thanks

Yes it has a lot of barrel distortion (RAW)
