I'm happy!
Full-frame at 1200x900 and 1:1 crop. Straight from the camera (GF1)
Seems like a capable lens!

HuubL,
Very nice to see NL scenery again. We had 5 great years there. This is the only lens that I want to supplement the 20 on my GF1. It is not easy to find one. Does it feel comfortable on the GF1? Results look impressive.

Mark

Hi Mark,
It's an excellent fit for the GF1. It's amazingly small and light without compromising the general feel of ruggedness and density. It IS a bit expensive though.
Have fun in Korea. It would appeal me more than Holland right now.

Whatever
Didn't I tell you that was an awesome lens? Trust in Vinny!
BTW, how do you like the AF on that lens? Is it quiet or what?!

We are traveling to the US next week. Maybe I will find one along the way. I notice that BHPhotovideo and Adorama are out of stock so it seems they are not easy to find. Maybe I can trip over one at duty free.

I'm using Canon L lenses, and I must say these Pannys are in the same leage: silent and quick.

Same thoughts here. The direct comparison for the Panasonic 7-14mm f4.0 would be something like the 17-40mm f4.0 L or maybe the 16-35L or maybe the Nikon 16-35mm f4.0 VR. I think the Panasonic actually has an advantage over those lenses.
I have not used my Nikon 14-24mm f2.8 G ever since I got the GH1+7-14mm - once the image quality (98%) has been achieved, the size/portability factor plays a huge role in which camera/lens gets used more. I would much rather lug around the GH1+7-14mm than carry the D700+14-24mm G.
