What about the G2? Opinions? Experiences? My wife got interested in a G1 advertised here, but like the seller’s wife, she too wants to do some video.
The articulated LCD appears important to her, like the swivel/twisting ability of her current Nikon digicam. She often finds herself at odd angles to her subjects. Like cats and clothing.
I’m concerned about the increased bulk of the G2 over the flat Nikon; whether she'll find it convenient to have with her.

I'd like to pick up a body-only option. I think the touchscreen focusing is a great addition to the LCD. I have the G1 and really like it. The G2 is an improvement, so I figure why not?
