Recently I stumbled (literally) onto a secret process for creating a poor-man's Leica "edition 60" for free!
-Take one perfectly good Panasonic G3 (or any camera with a swivel LCD).
-Drop it, preferably LCD-down, onto some jagged rocks (a hammer will suffice for the less adventurous). Bonus points if you fall on top of the camera in the process.
-Take the screen off (it's dead weight at this point), hope the EVF still works, set it to record monochrome... and VIOLA!
One Panasonic "Edition 60"
(Sorry for the crummy photo - it is my only digital besides my phone!)
