Just took out the L1 with compact Olympus 14-42 .
Having migrated to Sony / Minolta lenses , I was taken aback at how comfortable and familiar it feels , even the squinty finder does not upset the magic !
It's my digital classic !!

The Panasonic DMC-L1 is an absolutely brilliant camera. It overdelivers on its specs and is a pleasure to shoot with.

When I first got into photography in 2007 I wanted the L1 and 14-54mm so bad.
Now I wouldn't be able to use it...

I do seem to find cameras with acceptable IQ and great colours at ISO 100 - such as the basic Sony A290/390 with older CCD sensor !!

I have recently resurrected mine with the Panasonic/Leica 25mm f1.4 Summilux. Wow what a great combination despite the decade old technology. The fast lens helps immeasurably with the relatively poor ISO response of the camera.
