A nice feature for the novice..but for others? Olympus came out w/ focusing stacking this year for certain cameras. No Panasonic has comes out w/ this.

It appears that it may be based on certain features..A camera that have both touch screen and 4K video plus some other unknown hidden features in hw like sufficient CPU speed maybe.
Personally, I find the Olympus focus stacking a much better new feature than this post processing of focus that Panasonic came up w/...just because the new feature can do what it would take me quite some time to do in Photoshop. While this new Panasonic feature is really nothing than me going to spot af and shooting some specific focusing points to later decide which is really better...which is really a decision I would have really made at time I shot the picture. So for me it is nothing more than a gimmick whereas the Olympus focusing stacking is a potential post process time saver.

After watching their promo video yesterday, I had the same thoughts.
