I was very interested when this camera was announced back in February, but all the reviews suggest it has the same issues as the other prosumer Panny cameras - namely small sensors and high noise. A shame as the handling looked interesting...

This sounds like a lead into a film vs. digital discussion, and I nearly fell for it. Fortunately, I didn't. That funny "small sensor" argument and the world of conclusions that comes out of it, can sometimes be tricky.

That could well be true, but all it really says to me is that I need to find a rental unit before buying one 😎 what someone else dislikes might just be my cup of whisky... :angel:

I find it interesting and that's a rarity to begin with for me concerning digital. I don't have any big hangup against it, but it's been difficult to find anything that even comes close to what I'm looking for. This one has some potential, that's all.
