There's a reason why one never sees shots like these displayed....... it's a format that's not suitable for verticals. Our eyes are situated in our heads horizontally. So maybe I need to lay down and look at these :]

LOL...It's certainly not natural to our eyes that is for sure. Our vision evolved to scan the horizon for predators, or something like that. Though in certain situations, it can work to great effect.
