Still having fun with the Lynx 14 I got last week, and this time I wanted to take some night panoramas. Using the program Hugin, I stitched a few pictures I took around Tufts campus together, and they turned out better than I thought they would. Everything except the portrait was taken at 1/30 at f1.4. 400 speed film. The last one was at about f2.8. Hugin is a free program, not easy to figure out, but works pretty well when you get it all sorted.

Very nice pictures of my alma mater! Trouble is, I don't recognize the buildings in pictures 1 and 3; must be newer.
Very cool work with the program; I can't tell where the stitching was. And the portrait lighting is great -- conveys the coldness of the scene.

Nice shots. The flare looks good around the lights for the Lynx.

I have had this camera for almost 2 years and have had no luck finding batteries. It has such a nice glow to it.

You can use 675 size hearing aid (zinc-air) batteries, one with some aluminum foil padding under it will fit. My meter is off, so I tried a 1.5 volt sr44 battery and it gives a better reading for my camera, for example f 2.8 with the zinc-air gives f4 with the sr44 (still not exactly matching my hand-held meter, but close enough).
The battery chamber is tricky. You may put in a new battery with foil, and it wont work. You take it out and put it back in, now it works. You have to fiddle with it a bit.
Here's another stitched together photo I did for fun.
