Gone elsewhere
For those who love this magic city in the same exaggerated and unresonable way as I love it I would like to point out my new gallery which I created today.
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=5110
I added the first 11 postcards I shot since my last visit there a week ago and the gallery will get completed during the next two weeks , there are still 7 rolls in the pipeline.
The lab scans are not overwhelming and the gallery software eats additional sharpness and so it is worth while to click on the images to get at least the original resolution in a second window.
Some of you might find the the shot of the Eiffeltower a bit crappy, and right they are.
It is posted just because of beeing the result of an experiment. We did not plan to go there at night and when we went there anyway I had no tripod with me and no lightmeter.
The Bessa L meter told me that 2 sec and f4 was not enuff and so I set the shutter on "B" and counted to 3,5 frozen behind my MONOpod !! 😀
Regarding the circumstances I find it surprising acceptable.
Soon more,
Bertram
