Part needed for Leotax Elite

I am looking for a Part for a Leotax Elite leica clone.

It is the part that holds the film winder in. The camera works well but this is all I need to finish this project.

It you have a part or know where to get one let me know.

Since this is a leotax I am interested in finishing this camera as it is my name sake.

Check with Don at DAG camera. He CLA'ed a Leotax for me (the one in the Classified section now) and he provided missing parts. He's an amazing repair tech.

If you can make a proper drawing and have the money it can be machined - not a big deal. The piece you need looks like it can be made on a lathe in 30 minutes by a decent machinist (even a good amateur).

Thanks Guys for your responses. I have sent off notes to DAG and the other usual Leica Clones repairpeople. Being the weekend I don't expect any responses until after the work week starts.

The idea of making a part is a good idea. I will wait until I find out if I can get a part first.

Any ideas how or where to commuicate to anyone in Japan for that part?
