Parts for a Voigtlander Perkeo ii

I've just started looking at a Voigtlander Perkeo ii that has issues in several areas.

I am aware of the Chris Sherlock videos, so am quite hopeful I can perform a CLA myself, although the shutter mechanism may have to wait...it's currently working, so i'd like a bit more experience before I embark on that one!

Anyway, i'm not yet tooled up enough to really go for it but I took the top plate off and had a look around and think I may need some replacement parts, so I was wondering whether anyone here could help me out?

I know that there is a square nut missing (the tiny one that holds the middle plate to the camera...the nut itself is inside the camera body, accessible via the film door).

Also, the film counter seems to have a hole in it. I shall get some detailed pictures up tomorrow but if anyone can help with a donor camera or parts, that would be great. Cheaper the better, although preferably for free!

Of course, i'm happy to pay postage.

There may well be other parts I need. I have yet to strip the mechanism under the top plate...I just had a cautious look but will likely give it a strip down tomorrow.

Anyway, can anyone help?

Check eBay for non-working Perkeos. Negotiate on price.

Keep an eye out for local camera fairs too but you probably know that. There is usually room to haggle 🙂 I dive round in the five pound buckets just for no hopers with good screws (not Perkeos, just general tat).

well i've just bought a broken perkeo 1 for a replacement screw. It came yesterday and the body is completely different and doesn't have the screw I need. Typical!!

All is not lost though as it will be my trial camera.

I'm hoping I can get another Perkeo 1 and make one good camera out of them both, plus I get to delve into the shutter mechanism without losing too much money if i can't rebuild it.

So can anyone suggest how I can replace the missing screw? Is superglue a good idea?
