Peak Design straps

I have an Amazon gift card burning a hole in my pocket and I am considering buying a Peak Designs camera strap. I am looking at either the Leash or the Slide Lite. I would be using this with my manual focus 35 mm SLRs which weigh about 600 g and with which I use relatively small prime lenses.

Which model should I get?

I use the leash on my d810 so it will take weight easy.

I have both. I use the Slide Lite for larger things, like camera bags and such; it's too bulky for most cameras by themselves. The Leash works nicely with all my cameras, including the Hasselblads.

I also have both but use the leash as I find the webbing of the slide lite just not flexible enough for me. The only plus for the slide lite is that one side has a rubberized surface

The leash is very good. It's comfortable and strong and easy to roll around my wrist if I want to carry the camera that way. I use it on both my X100v and XT3.

I have both, for anything under 2kg I prefer Leash.

I’ve owned at least one version of the three straps. The Slide is massive, about the size of a seatbelt, but great for distributing the weight of a heavy camera and lens combination. The Slide light works well with full frame dslr’s and medium length zooms. I use the Leash for film slr’s and rangefinders. It’s light, easily adjustable if you want to change from cross body to behind the neck. Plus you can disconnect the strap from the body quickly if you’re using a tripod. The dymeema cord used for the connectors was developed for stunt kites and is very strong.

I have a Leash for my Sony A7RII and I think it is great.

I use the Leash with my Fuji X-T4 body. I most often prefer no strap when walking the city streets, but I keep the Leash with me when I want my hands free. I've modified the Leash a bit however. I don't like the feel of the Peak Design anchors (which are meant to be left attached to the camera) under my hand when not using the strap. So instead of leaving the anchors attached to the camera, I leave them attached to the Leash with a snap hook attached to the camera-end of the anchor. Then the snap hook can quickly be connected to strap rings I leave on the camera lugs.
