Pen F 40mm 1.4 aperture issue

Hiya, I couldn't seem to find an answer to this problem elsewhere sooo...

The aperture on my 40mm for my Pen FT is stiff and slow to open. It's definitely an issue with the lens rather than the coupling in the body, as manually actuating the little nubbin in the rear of the lens is stiff and sticky.

The aperture blades themselves look clean. I can't work out which particular bit is causing the friction. Any ideas?

I'm reasonably confident with tinkering if it's a simple fix.

You will have to clean the whole aperture mechanism, not only the blades. A trace of grease or oil on the moving parts is enough to cause a sticky aperture. To get a the mechanism, you will have to remove the from cell of the lens.
