pencil vs camera

I discovered Ben Heine on flickr a few weeks ago. I marked him as a contact so I can see the new additions.

I understand how he gets the drawings to match the lines in the photos. His great creativity is what he does with it.
 
I came across his stuff a few months ago while looking around in Flickr...
I liked what I saw...very imaginative and well done...
When I read your post and I saw your link to Flickr...I kinda thought it might be Ben Heine's stuff...
 
I think the idea's neat but the execution's less impressive. It's quite clear that he superimposes the drawings and the hand onto the image after the fact. Are the images his own or just some he found on flickr? Not trying to put the guy down, I just think it would be more interesting if he either took real photos of the drawings in their environment or, if that's not possible, if he got rid of the hand and just superimposed the drawing alone.
