I thought my Hasselblad PME5 meter needed calibration because it was off by 2 stops compared to my Pentax Digital Spotmeter. Turns out the Pentax meter needed to be calibrated and an internal filter replaced. If you need a meter calibrated, I recommend:

Richard Ritter
PO Box 401
Townshend, VT 05353-0401

He was very responsive, provided a quick turnaround and did a great job on the repair at a very reasonable price ($95 including shipping).

Thank you Jeffry. My Pentax meter once fell down on the street in Salzburg (Austria). I managed to find a repair person at a jeweler there. He quickly fixed it. The spring that held the battery in place had fallen out, so he replaced that spring.

Thanks; always good to have a repair option.
I've had a Pentax Digital Spotmeter since 1982 but virtually never use it...

I have one that has lost one or more of the lights in the finder, making it harder to interpret the number. Do you know if Mr. Ritter can fix those as well?

Richard only works on Pentax and Soligor spotmeters, but he's the best there is for those. He worked for Zone VI Studios and was the technician who did the modifications to the Pentax and Soligor meters that Zonve VI sold. He just recalibrated my Zone VI Modified Pentax Digitak Spotmeter for $108, including shipping.
