WRT Katz Eye screens: I have one on my K100D, and it's a real improvement over the stock screen in terms of brightness and ease of focussing, and the (optional) grid lines are a real help. Doesn't seem to have affected metering at all - I think the metering system is in the body rather than the prism.
With in-body image stabilisation and easy stop-down metering: (http://a1291762.blogspot.com/2006/12/manual-aperture-support-on-k100d.html), the K100D is a lovely camera for manual-focus lenses, and I'd guess that the K10D is just as good.
Hand held, 1/6s at f/8 (excuse the ugly bloke) - this is why I love it so:

Great shot, Monkey. All reversed is keen.
Kim:
I, too, had the 20/4 in M42 mount. It couldn't hold a candle to my 28/3.5.

I use my 20mm FA on my DL and its perfect. With the conversion that comes out to about 30mm equivalent. I just put it on the auto mode and fire away. But what is really fun is to put the $140 Zenitar 16mm on the DL, no auto though.
