Fine photos, Mike, but the action seems odd, maybe a cultural thing? I would find a chair at the vendor's table, either indoors or out, and sit down to eat. I think I'd feel pretty uncomfortable out on foot in a busy street eating, as illustrated!

Hi Doug! It’s so terrific to see you posting again; it’s been awhile and I’ve missed your keen insight and observations on the posts du jours.

Doug, we’ve got a gazillion restaurants with indoor tables and chairs; we’ve also got a street vendor and stand bar culture where people stand outside (and inside) and eat and drink on their feet. I enjoy both.

Photography wise, I find it’s easier to photograph people eating out on the street (on their feet). I don’t think it’d go over well if I walked into a restaurant and walked around with my camera photographing people whilst they ate their meals in a traditional sitting setting.

Doug, if you’re ever in the neighborhood, it’d be my honor to take you to a stand bar for a bite of food and some drinks (whilst standing on our feet) I think you might enjoy it!
