the snow must go on
Hi.
I've seen an interesting thumbnail image in the random selection, so i clicked on it.
"You don't have permission to view images in this folder".
Excuse me?????

I've had that. It might be the image is in a private folder - someone uploads photo's but doesnt want others freely viewing them?
That was my thoughts when it happened last week to me

Ignore It (It'll go away)
When setting up a new Album in your gallery, you have the option of making the album private. It's odd, though, that Random would display thumbnail images from a private album.

I tried to open a "random" thumbnail of Rich Silfvers the other day and got the same thing. It must be the image is in a private folder that requires a password from the owner to open.

Also it's possible to get to fullsize images in private galleries when you have thumbnail url (you have to look into page source to get it). Imho, this is bigger problem.

The "problem " is, i'd say, when on a photographic community page people start to make "private" galleries and deny permissions.
There are a zillion other places where you can store photos that you DON"T want to show. Like your own computer, or a drawer.
