There is an old pet cemetery nearby, mostly overgrown, with graves dating back to the 1930's.
I've done a larger project on it using a Hasselblad @ 110/2 lens, but i thought i'd take a walk thru it with an M8 and an old 35 preasph Lux. All are shot wide open

I oft think photographing in the cemetery (pet or human) is a bit cliché but I like how these look - particularly #1 and #4 - good stuff.

Yeah the softness is really great! That is, fits the subject matter very well.

I love the glow-y effects you've created with your Lux. There is a pet cemetery that I have been watching being overgrown with urban modernization, and shooting every couple months. Documenting the issue of gentrification/modernization: a cliche, I know, but its MY cliche! (everything has been shot before, is that a reason for ME not to shoot it?).
I know I took a pic of this cemetery at one time with a 35 Lux, but i think this shot is with a CV28/1.9 on my M8 or RD1.

thanks all for the comments, and taking the time to.
the cemetery in this series is different than that one.. Mine is in Santa Cruz.. it appears that the one you're shooting is in SF?
my medium format series is at

go to Personal Work, then Pet Cemetery. all of those were shot with a Hassey & Zeiss 110/2 lens (one of the best portrait lenses I've shot with)
