I recently acquired a Petri 2.8 and want to add a filter set and lens hood to my Petri kit. A look through the manual for the camera shows some good information on the use of filters, but nowhere does it mention the filter size. My measurement of the diameter of the filter ring (done with a metric ruler and not a caliper) indicates somewhere close to 41mm but I can't be positive about that. Does anyone know what the filter size of the Petri Orrikor f/2.8 45mm lens would be? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Congrats on getting a Petri 2.8. The 2.8 CC Super was my first serious camera, a high school graduation gift (1959). It served me well for many years before the film advance bearings wore out, and I now have a working copy in my collection. The sharp, contrasty little Orrikor lens has a 40mm filter size for screw-in filters and 42mm external for slip-ons.

Thank you for your response and the information. I'll get on filterfind to see if there are any filters there that can work for me.
