Hi! I think this is my first post here! :)

I really need some help!

A few days ago, I received my acquisition which I bought from ebay. A Petri 7s II (the model with the external light meter indicator).

Yesterday, I decided to open it up in order to clean the viewfinder. So, I unscrewed the 3 screws that hold the top cover and I removed it.

While I was removing it, a little piece of bented metal dropped off from the film rewind knob and I don't know where it goes. :bang:

The knob turns perfect even without the metal piece but I believe there is a reason they put it there (obviously) :p

Does anyone know something about it, or have any idea? Or maybe has the same camera and willing to check it out for me?

I tried to find a repair manual but couldn't find one for the specific model [only for the Petri 7s (which I also have), but does not have the same mechanism] :(

Right now, I am at work, so I can't post any images of the piece and/or knob. But, if necessary, I could post them later..

Thanks!!!

Definitely post pictures, but from your description I'm guessing it is a small spring that is used to keep the rewind handle extended or retracted (in other words, not flopping around loose). If so, it should fit under the central screw for the rewind knob, with one end underneath the pinned end of the rewind knob.
