I just want to give a little shout-out to RFF's Frank Petronio, specifically his portfolio/blurb book that you can view on his website or buy as a hard copy:

We've seen a lot of these pictures here over the years but I have to say, all viewed together, they are really an impressive body of work. I mean, I like looking at pictures of pretty women, but these are really inventive photos, full of personality.
So yeah...nice work...too bad you couldn't get the kitten pic in there.

Frankly the Blurb book is expensive for an 8x10 160-pager but that's what those things cost. You can see a PDF of it for free though ;-)

Thanks some more. But honestly I don't think I could crop 4x5 in camera handheld as tightly as my pictures are. I crop in Photoshop and add the frames, they aren't scanned to the edges. Hope that doesn't destroy the illusion ;-)

Yeah, you know what? You have got me back on the notion of photoshopped frames. I am thinking of starting to leave them in, or even creating them. It doesn't seem as fake to me as it used to, and you have made it seem positively cool.
