I got a Rollei 35 SE, and love it. Now I know first hand what people mean when describing it, build quality, quirky handling (rewind lever, film direction) and image quality.
I've put 2 rolls of Tri-X though it and discovered I'm getting double exposures, my first ever double exposure, accidental, and I'm really pleased with it:
The first exposure of the tilted buildings happened by mistake as I was playing around with the camera upside down in my left hand to see if I could take a "hip-shot". The second, unintentional double exposure was a "walking past hip-shot" successfully carried out.
The other double exposures I'm not to happy with and am not sure if it is operator error or camera malfunction, any experience, suggestions, or ideas would be appreciated.

Hah! One more on the dark side! But be careful: one more "quirky" and the camera will stop making great photos;-)
The only transport issue of my Rollei is that in some rolls (not in all, strangely) the first five exposures have way bigger spaces between them than the rest of the roll. I´ve read about loading problems in the web sometimes but found the Rollei always easy to load.
I would use a cheap film and transport it without the back to check the transport.

This unusual spacing has caused my scanner to misread scans a few times.
