Is there any interest in a get-together near the end of September? I'm starting most of my new classes for the semester and thus pretty busy with student advising in early September. This is a shout out to the usual suspects:

Al, Nick, Jim, John, Ben and any other interested local southeastern PA, New Jersey or Delaware members

I'd like to change where we usually meet to the Fado Irish Pub. I've been spending more time there lately and really like their bar and the fact that they serve Guinness on tap, which the Irish Pub does not. Great food as well!

Proposed Time and Date

When: 9/18 or 9/25

Where: Fado Irish Pub
1500 Locust Street (Corner of 15th and Locust)

I'm still around. I'm up for anywhere downtown easy to reach from Inepta.

How's the food at Fado? The other Irish Pub was one of the few places in the entire USA that knew how to cook a burger...

The food's great! I had the best BLT I've had in recent years, yeah I know, anyone can make one of those, but these guys do it really well! Their burgers are delicious as well. Plus, the final hook for me, Al, is the Guinness! 😀
 
I will be in town. I'm not 100% sure that I will be available, but it is now definitely on my calendar.

Just an update, Sept. 25 is the start of the Octoberfest celebration in Philly. It should be an interesting time. Looks like some good photo ops!
