Taipei-metro Sir I have only the best memories from Taichung, from any place in Taiwan. Only had been there once and I don't particularily remember the heat, must be that I am used to tropical places. Hope to make it back to Taichung spring next year, I am invited to the marriage of a lovely woman I had met then.

right turn can go any time, right? your's was taken March 2011. the road surface and green paint deteriorated quite a bit in just over a year

Yes spring will be the best time to visit Taichung...back in early '70s, Canon is the first camera company to set up a big factory here in Taichung because of the fine weather, first producing the famous Canonet QL17 GIII, several of my Canon DSLRs, EFS lenses today are all made it here today...
