^ the buildings in District 2 are already taken down, but the ferry was still running? used to cross the river with my bike on that ferry, it was like going to a village in the countryside right from downtown Saigon, what a pity it's gone now

Andreas, I am not sure in which year the ferry operation in downtown Saigon was shut down. The hydrofoil jetty opposite the ferry landing is also gone. Pity...
