haha, nice. I had no idea who the person on the poster was, great that he fit the theme too. We had talked about AKB48 another time, but my insight is very limited.
Ibaraki, across the Yodo river, used to go to an onsen there while living in Katano near Hirakata.
Afraid that I can't come up with photos showing other Japanese artists, specially beautiful women, this guy doing the beer commercial is Hidetoshi Nakata, a world famous Japanese soccer player, right?
Hi Kuuan, Thank you for your reply
Hidetoshi Nakata 中田英寿 is quite famous alright, retired in 2006 though...
I am following Japan's women table tennis team very closely, they (top three; Mima Ito, Kasumi Ishikawa, Miu Hirano) are the Only three that can 'possibly' beat the Chinese Women's team (world #1 as always)...
few hours ago (Aug 26), Ishikawa just won the Czech Open by beating China's Wen Jia (well, Czech Open is not a major TT tournament, all top 5 Chinese women's player are not here)...

Shinkansen (新幹線, means new rail line) E1 and 700 Series...together!
(700 Series is also used in Taiwan's High Speed Train too, i'm in Los Angeles now, surprised that there is not a single mile of HST here...China has more than 10,000 miles HST now)

good background information, thank you. I took it from a passing, local train. I was with a friend who just told me to get my camera ready, not more. He had known that we will pass this scene, I was quite lucky with the framing that I got
