Iran sounds great! No joke. Passed through once by public bus on the way from Europe to India, in 1983 I think it was. Have very fond memories. I read that live is at full swing in Tehran, though mostly behind closed doors, and lately already have been considering, seriously, flying there for a short vacation, fleeing the cold of Austria.

ah, right, didn't think of that! Key here will be "behind closed doors", and in case of lack of supply we will be able to substitute beer with still common traditional substances, just as I did in the 80s
